Terrokar, PCT’s, and…Mentoring?
February 22, 2008So, I wrapped up Zangarmarsh yesterday and headed off to Terrokar. I’m not as fond of Terrokar, but it’s still a heck of a lot better than Hellfire!
I had a not-so-fun time at Grangol’var Village last night. Multiple patrols are not cool! I only died once, but I lost track of how many times I had to turn and run. Bah.
On the plus side, I managed to fight my way through enough orcs, arrakoa, and miscellaneous beasts to get nearly halfway through 63, woohoo!
I also PCT’d my 70 priest over to Drenden last night. My warlock will still be my main, but my guild is short-ish on healers and I figured I could help out with the occasional 5-man and whatnot. I was actually pretty surprised with how quick the PCT was…the site told me up to an hour, but it only actually took about 5 minutes. Of course, it also cost a ridiculous $25….
So I get my priest invited into the guild as soon as the PCT is done, and a guildie who has a 41 priest alt immediately /w’s me all excited about an experienced holy/disc priest being in the guild (I had only mentioned her to a few people previously, as I had been undecided about transferring). He asked me to be his mentor…I felt honored! I did warn him that I’m a little rusty from not having played the priest much in months, but I was still able to answer the questions he had, so…I guess I’m officially a mentor now. I am so going to start calling him “padawan”.
Nice. I got a 70 priest, and a 70 lock, got any questions about the lock and I can be a “mentor” too lol. Terrokar is definately not the greatest, neither is nagrand. Once you get to netherstorm and shadowmoon, thats where its at.

I liked nagrand better than shadowmoon and netherstorm, personally, at least on my priest and hunter.
hehe no problem. i can see what you mean about nagrand, but I just found the quests in shadowmoon and netherstorm to be more fun.
for some reason, I always liked the STV-style “kill this kind of beast, now this kind, etc” quest chains, which is a big part pf the reason Nagrand is my favorite
i liked nagrand because of the green grass, earth islands in the sky, the whole “stranglethron hunt” all over but with different animals, it`s a great place to get leather and enjoy a peaceful view.

ohhh noooo, 1 month passed from te last post, wassup m8, u dinged lvl 70, did u start kara attunement or you want to wait untill 2.4 ?
